if you roll right before your toes hit the ground, you get a better roll it'll make a lil "clink!" sound , and it will send u higher (if u have the speed for it too)

roll sideways to a space that is atleast 2 studs tall, and stop holding everything once u roll sideways and click spacebar the slightly later you jump the more height you gain
