The scan maneuver is when you use it in tvp to prevent the lock on from breaking before the stalkers blink. Scanning ahead on regular units that are just running away is an extremely basic move.

Scan for units with longer range than vision(cyclone, ST) is common sense not an influence.

Thermy there's 1 hidden skill you have that is extremely impressive, and that is your ability to speak and be interesting at all times, even during the first 2 mins where there's little action happening - and you do it episode after episode after episode

Love the sky terran episodes. Especially when there are a lot of bcs. Having horrendously low apm myself, the bc is my go-to unit. This slow moving, shot while it's moving unit is just perfect for me :)

The BC is for some reason one of my best units used and not just for the auto-attack but for the teleport: I once stopped a void ray cheese because I BC rushed and kept immediately teleporting a full-health BC to his stargate after teleporting the damaged one back since he couldn't kill it in time. In the end his void rays just kept getting killed when they warp in XD

Hey Marc :). Suggestion from my Gold/Plat self-- at 10:55 you mention a tank drop being really scary. Since you're not going to use your Barracks anyway (you already made your 5 rines + 1 reaper) why not float it out to scout drops? For instance over the dead space middle right so you can defend drops faster? It looks like your opponent actually did that with his Rax over on the left side.

@@faithful451 At that particular point he didn't need to. My point was to use it as a scout during the danger time of when "a tank drop is really scary" which is only a minute or 2. You can use it for additional reactors/tech labs if needed after that :)

I know a Chinese Starcraft streamer that does something with the minerals he floats: he covers the ground with missile turrets, "Terran creep." It turns into a no-go zone for air units, and ground units take a while to blast through it, and if the enemy uses ghosts you make your own ghosts to snipe theirs before the nuke lands. So it's pretty effective at forcing your opponent's hand, and since high concentration of BC is going to float minerals no matter what, Terran creep is good at doing something with that money. Obviously in Sky Terran there are no ghosts, but if a snipe is defined as single target, long range, and high damage, then Yamato Cannon is a snipe too.

Great game. Quick question. Though I may be wrong, I believe 3 SCVs are the OPTIMAL number far harvesting gas, not MAXIMUM. When you use so gas-heavy army, can't you just use 4 SCVs?

I think the 4th scv causes them to wait long enough that you might as well not have the 4th. Like, the gas income doesn’t change by an amount large enough (or at all) to warrant the lack of minerals that extra SCV could have been mining instead.

Oversaturate don't bring you anything. You can send 3 SCV per mineral and per gas. If you put a 4th SCV, they juste wait ( with a rotation of wich one wait, but a wait ) You can try that for see by yourself if you want : put 50 scv in the same gas : you have same income than 3

Might want to consider sieging libs so the liberation zones overlap a lot more. No matter how far forward, if they're all in range to shoot at the thors, you'll be fine. Usually you make "layered" lib zones in case you die to storm/parabomb or enemies just running through. You're up against thors though, so none of that matters. Thor splash is so tiny that if you get the libs themselves even a tiny bit spread out it'll be fine.
