In case of emergency you will not have all the time to deploy your SMB, I would go for a reel which is ready to fire.

Ridiculous that one is expected to fiddle with a line before deploying.

Use a spool for SMB and a reel for penetration......prerig your spool and smb......this is an overly complicated, time consuming and potentially dangerous method.
