Dr. James Leary, CTAHR Invasive Weed Specialist, conducts field trials at the Kohala Preserve and Conservation Trust, Hawai'i Island, targeting the invasive weed Rauvolfia vomitoria. The Wet Blade® chemical delivery system is evaluated using herbicides with the active ingredients glyphosate, triclopyr, aminopyralid, and imazapyr. Preliminary results are shown after 5 months. Partial funding provided by the USDA via the RREA and TSTAR programs.
