N had a cap of 1000. All the permutations of letters taken 3 at a time exceed 1000(it is 26*26*26) and therefore we are sure that it won’t exceed 3 :)

How did you figure out that answer will not be more than 3 characters in B problem?

Because to make all possible lexographically small strings of 3 letters you will get enough possibilities to easily cross the given length of string which was 1000 aaa to zzz has 26³ possibilities so you can brute force all possibilities

it can be further optimized if u look closely... u just need to check all 1 length substring,2 length substring and 3 length substring starting from character 'a' only.....aaa to azz only...no need to go above. Reason:26(1 length substring)+26*26(2 length substring)+1*26*26(3 length substring starting from 'a')=1178....and constraint is just 1000.

What happened in A? You printed all the numbers but sample output was the just elements that were added in B. I am so confused.

The question said that 'a' can have an element of max value 100, and 'B' just needs to have all the elements of 'a' once and 'b' could have elements at most 300, also for any occurrence of a negative number the answer would be "NO" , hence he printed all the numbers from 0 to 100 so that the difference between any two numbers would already be present in the array as the difference couldn't be greater than 100 (100-0), easy and simple solution
