Hello Sir, 1. If the panels are connected in Parallel, The Amperes should be Total of IMP (Written on back of panel). I shall guess 17 to 20 Amps total. 2. Hello sir, My utl gamma reconnect voltage setup is 11.8. I am using pcu mode. At night (when I am checking), my battery voltage is 12.3. When I on the main (grid) switch, the utl gamma inverter is started to run load on grid. But say that in pcu mode, inverter run load on battery if battery voltage is greater than reconnect voltage i.e. 11.8. Why this happens?

Sir my utl gamaplus one kva inverter switches to eb even when the battery voltage is above the reconnect voltage (pcu mode is set) I haaaave two off gird solar systems and it has produced less then 1000 units for the past 27 months since installation. Bothe the systems have two 435luminous monoperc (half cut) pannels in parallel connected to one kva utl gama plus inverters(2 units) one unit has two 12v 200ah tall tubular batteries in parallel and the other one is one c10 12v 200 ah battery. I am living in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Kindly advise. Thank you, I am a subscriber of your channel and follow them regularly .For two batteries unit the spc charging current is 38.9 and for the single battery unit is spv charging ampere is 18. For both reconnect voltage is 11.8

If there are no other faults, This usually happens due to the typical behaviour of lead acid battery. The voltage sags below 11.8 whenever any heavy load is started and the inverter switches to mains. Try playing with the reconnect voltage to 11.6 and report back. Also, check the actual performance of solar panels using a good clamp meter.

Hi! Your videos on UTL Gamma Plus Solar Inverter and others are excellent, informative and very useful. Thank you. I have a query. I run my UTL Gamma PLUS in SMT mode. On bright sunny days, the inverter turns the mains on (screen turns bright orange) and “SPV Amp” gets down to zero (with “SPV Volt” ~59.4). In addition, there is a screen that says “SPV Hi”. Do I need to change any particular setting? I have two 300 Watt solar panels connected in series. The DC current comes from the solar panel to the inverter via a 16 A circuit breaker. The circuit breaker does not get off during “SPV Hi”. I connected two batteries of equal capacity in parallel to the inverter. I would be thankful for a solution to the problem.

Sir am currently using Luminous 200Ah solar battery with Utl gamma+. My full charge of battery goes between 14.2- 14.3 volts. Also in smart mode, during evening till mains is reconnected, battery charge comes down to 12.5. Is it normal?

No. Assuming Battery standing voltage is 12.6v, the 12.5 is pretty much full charge.
