Force on force is a style of firearms training that is the closest you can get to a real gunfight. The Ultimate Training Munition or UTM round, is a primer propelled paint projectile/ marking round.
UTM rounds can be fired from dedicated UTM pistols as as well as conversion bolt for the AR15. this allows you to train with the rifle you may use on the road as a LEO or in your home as a armed citizen.
Access to UTM round is restricted but ownership is not illegal. They are slightly higher priced the traditional ammo. There are several training companies to offer UTM/ Force on force classes. One of the best I have attended is taught by Sage Dynamics. I highly recommend that you find a training company that offers force on force training, it is a great way to test what you know and what you may think you know.

UTM is hands down most reliable sims out there…. So frustrating constantly fixing malfunctions with other sims.

Love everything about this. This channel is going to be huge. Yeah sims genuinely hurt. I'm kind of a b!tch, but they'll put holes in our clothing, and you're going to bleed if you're hit. There's no better training than force on force though. The sting keeps you working a bit harder to not be hit as well. I'm a service rifle snob, but this is unquestionably the highest end rig you can make out of the Gucci product lines.

I am enthusiastic and I would like to be able to train like that, but being a civilian I do not think they will sell me, currently I have an airsoft rifle that I use for playing and training and it is practically the same without expelling the shell, it is a pity that a civilian cannot access they

Are those older utm rounds at 1:39 ? The newer ones use a plastic “collar” on the actual projectile rather than metal
@rdrgear

These are UTX the plastic Is UTM if I am not mistaken. Don’t quote me. The UTX feeds better with less jamming and has better accuracy

Personally I think making a complete reliable airsoft counterpart that is a exact replica of your rifle is more ideal vs this I’ve seen a a lot of malfunctions with the cartridges and the availability isn’t there for a all around less reliable systems they have versions that run on gas that are pretty great but I’d say the systema ptws are probably the best for this purpose they are pretty expensive but probably cheaper then a designated umt rifle

True. Utm definitely has a barrier. I totally agree on the Airsoft replica of one’s training rifle. It’s still a bit of cash but once you set the rifle up. The long term cost savings is huge.

They have a civilian kit for sale
@rdrgear
@rdrgear 2 жыл бұрын
When you say civilian kit. I am aware, to my knowledge it’s not the man marking round. It’s a lead free training round. If you have seen otherwise. Please send me a link. I will gladly correct my statement.
@rdrgear
@rdrgear 2 жыл бұрын
Just looked again. The civilian kit, as I stated is a lead free training round for live fire use. NOT FORCE ON FORCE USE. UTM does not sell marking munitions to the general public. Outside of UTM dealers who may sell it to students who are taking force on force classes at their facility.

um I understand the concept of the sight height, but that's just dumb and you get caught on Everything with that crap, Stuff needs to be low profile for that reason. My wife is new to guns and even she said the same thing. To each their own man, i love sim training!
@rdrgear
@rdrgear 2 жыл бұрын
Why does stuff need to be low profile. Please share your thoughts on how a more “heads up posture”’is not a better way. I know dudes who are far more skilled than both of us, use a higher optic mount. Have you tried a 1.93” style mount?
@commander31able60
@commander31able60 2 жыл бұрын
the high mount is something you most likely won't understand until you try it. I thought it was dumb until I picked up someone else's rifle with that mount and it's actually pretty good.
