For The King is phenomenal!! I’m a 38 y/o semi-elderly and this game reminds me of tabletop games of the 80s n 90s. That being said IT IS BRUTALLY TOUGH to reach the apex of the learning curve n I’m visciously humbled every time I fire it up. Been playing for about 2-3 hours now! Tip: if you clear the Scourges early by finding on the map fighting them (they are usually level 2) you will get a Artifact grade item that's super good generally.

Tip: Use all your focus points in movement right before you go to a statue. Your going to get full focus back anyway might as well use your spares as movement points.

An additional tip! :D Because I just can't stop playing: It's important to stack your armor/resists so you don't take as much damage (again, healing gets expensive!). Leveling up will give you a full heal, so you can plan out the allocation of XP strategically if you're in a pinch AND taunt is very important skill, and will increase resists. Woot woot!

@@Philminator its not entire luck base some major roll can get a % increase with your stat depending on the stat that is use in the event

My experience so far, although limited, is that the RNG is limited enough to allow you to strategize around it, but is present enough to keep you off-balance and force you to constantly be making tricky decisions to add stakes to the game.

best tip you can get.. Get a weapon with a SLOW on its attack (busker's starting weapon has one on its normal attack) early on and stick with it. as far as i can tell nothing is immune to slows. Look for a weapon that has a AoE slow later in the game and you're good to go. Pair up AoE slow with AoE haste and nothing gets a turn lol

Interrupt is also good, especially against bosses, since it usually sends them back more than slow does.

Using lore to unlock new classes, items, sanctums, and mini encounters is also great. A lot of the secondary classes are superior to the starting classes.The thieves piss me off, but if you have a character with taunt, using it will stop them from fleeing with your loot. killing them always gets your loot back. If your character is intelligence based, the higher your intelligence is the more likely you are to hit perfect with that weapon. I found a bad ass magical sword and used it on my blacksmith and I could not figure out why he was sucking so bad. Even though it was a sword, it was an intelligence weapon and he was too dumb to use it. :)

@Samantha Widham You are referring to the Ethereal Blade which has stats based on Intelligence, not Strength which the Blacksmith favors. Very good tips.

Referring to the godsbeard tip: improve your pipes as quick as possible, they will make you get more benefit out of rare herbs.

I literally started playing this with a friend during the quarantine and I did not expect what feels like a masterpiece I live this game but I will say melee feels a little busted fantastic game 10/10 much enjoy many wow.

Love how the game literally tells you, that its difficult and you propably wont succed on first try. At the 3rd try tho it really works out good. No chaos, all lives, and literally 80 damage with one, 50 Magic damage (80 with the strong, but less chance attack) and the weakest character has 31 magic damage, but atleast it ignores resitance with a 60% chance and the weapon allows for evade, attack and rush buffs, so a bit of focus used and the enemy wont be able to attack, or hit my party.

Just pick up the game and its pretty good if you just want to learn the basic i got another tip for u before starting a game you can adjust the difficulty for inexperienced player by changing the scourge rate economy and chaos in the planning game menu and go gradually from ther cuz its kinda starting hard my first game didnt last one ingame day lol

Tip 1: Stock up. -except you'll be spending most of your gold trying to keep your team healed and equipped. So good luck with stocking up while watching your team drop like flies. Tip 2: Take you time. -LOL yea, just ignore the night mode and rising chaos difficulty. Since you spent your gold stocking up items, enjoy watching whatever little equipment you have get dissolved (destroyed) because you took it slow. And no, those fights are not avoidable. You can flee, but that's after you lose your equipment. Tip 3: Focus. -Save them for random "search here" encounters. Tip 4: Distance. -Keep you team never farther then 1 hex, unless they have "range support" on a equipped gear. Tip 5: Battles -take out the weakest first Tip 6: Night and Chaos -good luck finding a tutorial explaining that shit.

[Beautiful presenter]. I really like this game as it has much in common with FF that I always imagined was better than it actually is. I think they went overboard on items and I would like to see an option for a long campaign with character development (perhaps there is, I have not played it yet). But the beast men make up for all failings.

Yeah this game is so fucking hard for me. I get lucky map setups and isolated enemies, but RNGeezus always betrays me in the end. I just started playing a day ago and I cant pass the dungeons. Maybe I just need to take my time.

Mikkle Chua yeah the game is meant to be hard but I really like it that it is even if you are extremely good at it it’s still a challenge plus playing with friends is VERY fun (I did one online with a group of friends where we could only talk to each other if we were in similar squares it was very fun)

You need to improve your dodge skill. Some of the characters have a higher basic amount of dodge points, it can be increased by items and sometimes by "candies" (sorry, I don't know exactly what it is called in the English version of the game).
