MESA, Ariz. - No. 7 The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros baseball team (27-23) faces the No. 6 UT Arlington Mavericks (22-33) in the opening round of the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Hohokam Stadium, the spring training home of the Oakland A's.
The winner advances to face No. 3 Utah Valley on Wednesday at 2 p.m.
