I have used them both jio was superb no disconnecting issue but unfortunately i have upgraded to postpaid from prepaid then they have started their shitty games every month the bill was getting higher and higher so closed the jio connection and booked for airtel xstream i have opted for 40 mpbs plan because of slow speed upgraded to 200 mpbs but still sometimes the network will be down and at peak times experiencing slow speed

I have jio fiber 1 Gbps connection for the last one year, I never used their modem. I have TP-link 1 Gbps XPON, TP-link multi wan router, TP-link jetStream 10 port Gigabyte smart switch and TP-link xe75 mesh router. I get 750 Mbps everywhere over Wi-Fi and 930+ Mbps over Lan. I am using airtel for last i think 3 years, very good service like it will be down for hardly like 4 hours (continuous) in 3 months, mostly works perfect. I have a basic 40mbps plan, which works flawlessly for like 6 devices, have speed tested many times and its always more then 44mbps. I have a 4k tv and it too works fine without any blurring (dont know if its playing 4k or HD, does not matter). So for normal home use guys who are not into gaming or uploading huge videos or streaming, 40mbps is more then enough.

Both are good, services depends on the location. As for my experience jio fiber has hard cap on its speed, airtel gives little more speed that promised. Jio has better latency than airtel xstream(70-80ms jio vs 80-100ms airtel on Singapore aws servers) although airtel xstream latency is more stable than jio,jio has packet loss sometimes, well atleast for gaming. For optimal ping test select server manually from speedtest.
