I am from Uttarakhand and my wife is from Shim-la ,Himachal. Both are very beautiful states.However till it was part of UP, Uttarakhand was very back ward.Considerable progress has been made after it was separated and now lot of work and road construction work is under progress. Auli, Chopta,, Dehradun,Nainital, Ranikhet, Kausani, Pithoragarh, Mussourie,Kedarnath,Badinath, Yamnotri, Gangotri etc are beautiful places and lot of foreign tourist come to these places.However to come to the level of HP it may take about ten years more
