As a teenager 30 years ago, I lived on a lovely housing estate up north filled with really nice people. Then the council moved in some 'not very nice' (white) people from a very rough estate a few miles away in an effort to 'redistribute' the bad eggs, in a hope that that would assimulate and turn them into 'nicer' people... the exact opposite happened. Within 2 years the estate was a sh*t hole, all caused for only a handful of people and all the 'nice' people moved out.

More than 40 yrs ago a woman and her two kids got priority on a flat that other desperate Welsh families were in a queue for and on list years. This woman had the flat completely furnished by us tax payers and that was right down to cutlery, saucepans, bedding etc. The kids got handheld game gadgets as well and our kids could only dream of having. She was from Iran and fleeing a violent husband and he was also in the UK and visited her often and bought her a car and they seemed happy enough. She caused issues in our community by saying UK parents did not care properly for their children and were trash. She was a dreadful woman and turned her nose up at the locals who initially had tried to befriend her. Eventually she moved to Cardiff saying she was needing her community around her as she felt ostracised by the locals in the area….it was all untrue.

As it stands there is a clear welcome to channel migrants, encamped on the French coast, from the British government. There has been, and there continues to be, enticing pull factors on offer awaiting the migrants. This all helps to make France into a giant staging post for entry into England. The British government for years now, has been aiding and abetting illegal immigration. Moreover, the possibility of future amnesty will entice even more attempts to be made.
