At the end, we couldn't come up with enough to be able to buy the boat but this will be my next boat for sure when we can make it happen. For now, I'll continue to sail my Capri22 and admire this fast and ingeniously designed vessel

I've never seen a main sheet configuration like that. But I've never been on a brand new boat either! seems like a tripping hazard what are the pros?

We didn't think lines were tipping hazards for cruising: most loose lines are right by the traveler and not by the seats. Driver can sit by the traveler and drive, not getting tangled up. Just looks messy because we were testing out each and every sail adjustment and didn't pay much attention to laundry. This mainsheet config is pretty standard for racing type boats really. I think traveler being beam to beam is great for angle of attack adjustments without messing with your sail twist. Moreover, this deck arrangement for the traveler: not just in the middle but between mid point and stern makes life comfy for all without clogging the companionway or main seating area; besides, seating position of the driver in this deck layout keeps the weight away from the stern, as well as leaves plenty of room for the driver to switch sides when tacking/gybing; which means the driver can keep his focus on helming, instead of avoiding boom, traveler move, tangling, etc. The only gripe I had was not being able to have a back support while sitting on the comfy cushions (lifelines provide comfy backrest for the driver but the rest will suffer from lower back pain after an hour sitting without back support) This can be remedied by spending about $700, getting your local canvas/bimini shop, installing you a pogo10 like foldable back - rest for the seats
