I have been a ginger farmer for 15 years before traveling.It is a very lucrative job and it needs much attention.Ginger doesn't like much water as he is spraying and his spacing also is too much.I have a lot of experience in ginger farming and I ll continue to do it when I return to Ghana

@anokyeprince64493 жыл бұрын
The spacing is too much. Ginger doesn't need beds. Acre can get you a harvest 100bags

Tooo much spacing as3 bayer3
@princekaponde96643 жыл бұрын
The land is in abundance and they still have several acres according to them so that might be the reason for the spacing

The calculation part didn't go well for me.......how many bags will you get out of 1 acre?

Going forward, whoever is investing into this project must employ an investigation team. It’s either mismanagement or you people are over paying yourselves. 1. Why buy normal ginger from a market woman when you can locate a farm and get it cheap. To get rhizomes for seeds , you just don’t get any ginger but a 10 month old or more ginger. 2. Why too many workers? 80 to 60 people on just 8 acres of farm, doing what? Don’t you have tractor 🚜 service in that big region? Planting density zero, slope check zero 3. If I get them right this is their second of production, meaning they don’t need to even buy ginger but use some of their produce. Sir, please 220,700 can do massive work than work they’re doing here, my boss with 10acres did not hit this amount lol 😂. Why is it a government funded school building? >this is not modern sir, traditional farming gone wrong. They need a cultivator for this project. I love you sir
@TIME100113 жыл бұрын
Got a question for you sir, how many bags would you get out of a 10 acre farm?
@MinorityApproach3 жыл бұрын
900 bags -+
@ednaattah7553 жыл бұрын
Exactly what I was discussing with my friend. It’s just like buying corn from the market to plant instead of getting it from the right source or the agric office. And 80 workers.. meaning 10 people to an acre ..that’s too many. This is a great project but needs more work. I’m from Adawso too....we can do better
@koomson48682 жыл бұрын
He's even wrong to even mention that ginger doesn't like shade.
@koomson48682 жыл бұрын
The spacing too is very vast. Not making good use of a land that might probably cost amd the massive expenses they made.

Where are the so called youth and the celebrities who want the country get fixed, stupid lazy youth continue to rely on someone’s father.God bless this gentleman.
@flipbydemand3 жыл бұрын
Wow... you think everyone can become a farmer? You think fix the country is a wrong call? What do you do for a living sir? In fixed countries, governments give farmers subsidies to farm so they are able to acquire machinery and modern technologies into farming for greater yields and efficiency. Fix the country means build proper school systems, proper roads, better paying jobs, job creations, hospitals, factories, stop corruption, have a national development plan and so much more and it doesn't matter whose party is in power. Why do Ghanaians settle for far too less? Fixed and developed countries continue to build on what they have. They never stop developing. How much more Ghana? Chale, Ghana deserves better. Those whose came with promises to seek power to develop Ghana and make her a better place to live must deliver on their promises. But, they keep failing, party after party, government after government. Ghana as it is dey bee u? Travel and see. There is no heaven on earth. Human leaders like Ghanaian leaders had the vision to develop their countries the way they are now. Why can't Ghanaian leaders do same? No one forced anybody's father to become President oo. It comes with responsibilities. You have my name PATRICK AGYEI. Yes, that's my name too but we're on different wavelengths in the thinking spectrum. Don't talk like that.

I think the irrigation should be TUB irrigation, not fire service irrigation. TUB irrigation is very good for farming
@wedjongkwowe46793 жыл бұрын
Tube isn't for bigger farms... Just small space..... The sprayer is for bigger land.... They can use the automatic sprayer
