Absolutely amazing news👌 especially given the fact that there's quite a few big clubs that are looking for a new manager right now. Ie Chelsea, Bayern, Barcelona, Ten hag (will he stay or will he go) at utd. The fact that unai's made this decision to sign a new contract for that long shows every villa supporter he's fully committed to our club for the long term!! Don't forget everything he's achieved so far has been with a squad that he inherited! Imagine what we will be capable of once he's assembled his own squad with his own players??? Luke Think with the season to come and from the off more difficult, the summer is about boxing clever and being very smart with the transfers. Loan players going back moving on players that are not needed or doesn’t tie into Emery way of thinking, picking up a few players on a free possibly wages not as high, free’s up to go get bigger targets and go all out! This is a new Aston Villa and we aren’t messing around UTV 💪

Rabiot is definitely the kind of names we need to be linked with, we need some experience heads for ucl. Personally id love baena, dumfries, a quality cdm cover (Gallagher?) Hermoso and Johnathon david . That would be my shopping list , but can see dougie moving on, not sure why, but think it showed without kamara his influence is deminished and we could use the 80+ mil for a rebuild( id love him to stay tho) utv

Sounds a really decent acquisition if it materialises! I agree about squad depth….we almost need a complementary 11 players who are as good as or almost as good as the top 11 if we are to really build on last season. And we need to go early to bed new players in so that they are ready from day one. Go,Villa!!!

I think most villa fans would like Rabiot. Depends on wages fee etc. imo Barkley on a free or nominal fee is good business, Ineacho on a free is a no brainer. We need a Frimpong or Dumfries 💯💯
