Thank you for building a YXZ! They are amazing machines! The build quality and durability is second to none! 💪🏻

This machine is so underrated because of no turbo, but the transmission setup makes up for it in pure fun, if we had wider trails here I'd have one in a heartbeat

I have a 19 SS SE in blue and love it for a NA car especially clicking gears! I like your build all except the wrap! It’s just too busy and too much for my taste. I totally disagree with the nose slope comment because that’s what gives it the distinct look not to mention excellent visibility! The cage turned out great and really like the wheel tire combo! Thanks for the vid!

Amazing build!!I I have a 19 ss in Yamaha blue. Love the machine. My wife is 6’4” yes that’s correct. She has plenty of room driving and as a passenger. Great job.

Love the YXZ content. We love ours. I definitely need to look into some of these suspension upgrades.

Tastefully done. No doubt you dropped some big bucks to get it looking so good.

Love the vid, love the car. Would have liked the riding portion without the music so that I could have heard it.

After driving it, what do you think of those tires? Are they tough enough for the nasty AZ rocks and cactus? What are the best "Tucson Tuff" tires? The rocks and cactus in AZ are WAY meaner than in So Cal. Maybe we look to what the Baja racers are using?

The EFX Gripper is a great tire so far! We've driven through some nasty terrain and haven't been "easy" on them - no issues to speak of yet.

Is the rear avid A arm kit similar in pricing to the front? Looks really strong, are they 4130 chromoly tube? Oh, have you got a link for the engine mount?

All it needs is that turbo kit

That door striker plate at 14.51 sticking out jabbing the driver in the side or back every time you get in or out needs to be engineered out. Your a small frame guy & the YXZ looks like you have to twist & turn to get into it. The 2021 Can Am Maverick X3 turbo RR XRC is a tight fit for me getting in & out but I don't think I'd fit in the YXZ with the way the door opens only so far & that door striker poking out.

I own a 19 SS SE in blue and it has more leg room than a XP1000. The door post has never bothered me one time. I’m 5’11”/250lbs and get in and out just fine with a bad hip(quad crash broke it). In fact I wanted the YXZ but test drove the XPturbo and X3, but still settled on the YXZ because X3 was an extra $4-5k and the seating and dead peddle in the XP just killed my hip joint. Seating and leg room are great in the YXZ, but power wise there is a turbo or most likely a supercharger in its future!
@michaeltoro39893 жыл бұрын
For real‘s best legroom in the game

I’ve never had issues with the door plate, it’s a safety device intended to hold you in when you go on your side. Lots of room in the cab and super comfy.

The YXZ may not be the latest and greatest but even 5yrs after it was introduced there is still nothing that offers the intensity of experience and driver involvement of these cars. That being said, if Yamaha would just clean up the suspension geometry on a new model it would fantastic.
@UTVSource2 жыл бұрын
Agreed, 100%. A trailing arm rear end similar to what you see on other cars would make this much more of a viable contender for sure.

Hp?

Sources seem to all claim about 103HP. But we do feel the overall experience helps make up for the lower number....(kinda)
