I own a RS1 too. The door cards work well, but you will need to put the fender flares on as well. They do hide the tires but give much more protection and you get use to them quickly. Another tip!!, Get rid of those Polaris tree bars, they don't protect the rear tire as they should, go with the Houser Racing tree bars, much better and stronger.

We're on the fence on the fender flares. We have MudBusters on our XP, and we like them. One of the great things about the RS1 is that front tire visibility; we don't want to lose that more than we already have with the doors. Honestly, the mud in the cab isn't terrible after the upper doors were installed. If we go with anything, it will be more MudBusters. Agree on the tree kickers; they still allow the back tires to get hooked on trees.

@@DirtyRoosterOffroadMy first ride with the machine I had nothing on it, bone stock, at the end of the day I had more mud inside than out. I was worried about the loss of sight of the front wheels too by adding the flares, but after a few hrs of riding with them all was good. It's an awesome machine and can really climb like a bitch!!!, Have done a lot of upgrades and looking to do a tune, exhaust and clutch kit by Bikeman in the spring. Next year trips will be back to Hayfield and McCoy , Royal Blue and up to Main and New Hampshire. My brother and I both have RS1 and do most of our riding in PA.

I don't mind the mud, really, and we're not shy about hitting it. Which flares are you using? Agree they're amazing machines. We now have 5 in the crew. We're looking for similar clutch, exhaust, tune upgrades, but not sure who we'll go with yet. As you can see, we ride PA a lot. We'll be at Hatfield's in March.
