UV 25 CPS Programming

My UV-25 came unlocked. I am afraid that if i write to it with Chirp or other that it locks. Can that happen?

I am new to this, and currently this has all gone straight over my head. I guess I will have to read the manual.... hmmm (...if all else fails read the instructions...)

Hi, I am a new to the process and have a yearning for learning.... Here's my problem minus the learning curve, I will be 71 my next birthday, and my eyes even with readers are having difficulty in seeing your computer screen.... Could you enlarge the type for Us old guys, that are having some difficulties in seeing clearly the small type from your computer.... Thanks for your attention in this matter....Whiskey Rye 654

Chirp's UV-17 Pro no longer works with UV-25.

@@James_Madisons Downgrade your CHIRP to chirp-next-20240203 and try again, it worked for me.
