To be able to use a 3.5mm ja k cable to the case and then it goes wireless to the earbuds is a crazy but very useful feature.. i think many brands will copy that in the future if they don't have a patent for it
@michaelcorcoran87683 жыл бұрын
Right, I think we're going to see a lot of new technologies in the true wireless base and the wearable space. ANC and ambient mode aren't cutting edge anymore. So we'll see more stuff like this. Eventually lossless codec I hope. That would be a day to celebrate

I am curious....does the source DAC impact the sound? If I stick these in something with it's own DAC? Is it passive?

How would it be passive? The audio needs to go through a ADC in the case to convert analog input to digital before transmitting it to the earphones

This is one of the most impressive wireless earbuds I've seen on the channel so far. LG always brings new audio features to their products (like their phones) and I am happy to see that they brought a lot of new stuff with the new wireless earbuds. These seem like a great alternative option to the Sony WF-1000XM3/4 and I appreciate that they added an 8 band EQ that you can customize.

No wireless charging and only 2 charges in the case are some pretty massive negatives no?
@TalesOfGod3 жыл бұрын
@@varunaX I've never seen the point of wireless charging to begin with. I have a wireless charger with a case and phone that supports it, I rarely use it. It wastes electricity, you have to set it up and it charges much slower than just putting it wired. It takes a second to hook it up wired so it's completely unnecessary in my eyes. Some people may say that it is convenient but even as a lazy person, I don't see the point in it for wireless earbuds. 2 charges is fine for a device, it could use more but it isn't a deal breaker.

Yeah, and it's literally $100 cheaper than the Bowers and Wilkins option. Those were like between $300 or 400 if memory serves. Which is just more than I'm willing to spend on a true wireless product with unlimited shelf life. Which is just more than I'm willing to spend on a true wireless product with a limited shelf life/battery. I might spend that much on a pair of wired headphones but I haven't yet. I had to pick a set of these after your review (to go along with the almost 30 YES THIRTY) sets of other buds I own....ok I'll say it: I have a problem haha. But yes these are very nice overall. I was pleasantly surprised at how small the case is, right off the bat. Very cool it is. The fit of these for me is excellent, the sound (I chose the Immersive EQ setting) is great, the app is very nice as well. They're awesome overall. My only nitpick item is how thin the eartips are: they always stick to my ear when I take them out and they're always flipped outward - I have some others that do that also; no big deal really. The call quality also seems to be great as well. Very nice unit from LG for sure.

Not sure if I just missed you talk about it or not but, when using these to listen to audio through the case connection did it change the sound at all and did it affect the latency or delay at all? That's an awesome feature by the way and would be even more awesome if it creates a low latency, unmodified sound signature connection. Because then even if you have a device with an older version of Bluetooth connection it would be a built-in way to always make sure you have the best possible wireless connection to your content. Heck I have paid $50 alone for Bluetooth transmitters and Bluetooth receivers before. Great video as always keep up the good work

Loved this one, even so much time after you published it. I grab one of those after seeing your review and some others and profiting they already were below 100 bucks. Because of this a lot of times I only use my left earbud and I like to have transparency mode on. I have an Android phone and my buds plus allows me to do that, but I just tried the soundcore liberty 3 pros and they don't. I heard these LG's do not either, is that true? And if so what other earbuds could you recommend that can do that? Thanks!!
