I constantly sit here eating my heart and liver with every video of yours. Jealousy yes...envy yes...but its so worth it. Your work is beautifully done. Each piece is amazing. I absolutely love watching your work.

what is the chain called you are using for surrounding the center stone?
@jaykb65873 жыл бұрын
It's just a rhinestone chain. You can find them under nail supplies. I got a set of 12 on eBay...around $6.00. But the chains are very short. I did find larger ones at Walmart about a year ago. No idea if they still cary them. Check Amazon if you have Prime...

Where can I get these silicone pads? I've looked everywhere, but nothing. At least not in Europe
@krittenhs3 жыл бұрын
I took a cheap silicone mat and cut a piece off of it. Since it was a pretty flimsy mat, I cut a piece of chipboard and glued it to the piece of pad I cut. Works pretty good. You can find acrylic blocks on Amazon and use that too.

Hello! with which product do you clean the brushes that have come into contact with the resin? and where can I buy that particular piece of silicone that supports the rings you create? Thank you!
@safrahanan15713 жыл бұрын
i cant wait till i try it :)
@jaykb65873 жыл бұрын
Question: PLEASE answer. When you use your flat brush to clean off resin, do you dip it in alcohol or anything before you use it? And thanks for this gorgeous ring! I'm thinking of doing a birthstone ring like it for a Christmas present. I was stumped on what to do. 😁👍❤️
@leenahusa18063 жыл бұрын
Just wipe it on a piece of paper towels
@jaykb65873 жыл бұрын
@@leenahusa1806 But that doesn't work for cleaning the resin off the piece she's working on. If there is alcohol on the brush BEFORE she uses it on the metal of the ring, it would clean much better. Just a light dipping into the alcohol would clean so much better than.a dry brush... I'd really like to know if she does that.

We have cleaner for resin in Japan so she probably uses it, I guess. Alcohol also works the same way according to the ingredients of resin cleaner. Hope it helps for you.
@jaykb65873 жыл бұрын
@@user-tp1gf9gl1k thanks. I need to get back into doing things like this and thought a little alcohol would help. I have a cleaner, but prefer just alcohol when actually working like this. I'll be so glad when all my Christmas presents are finished and I can just have fun again.

@jaykb65873 жыл бұрын
That's because where she gets them isn't usually available out of Japan. I get most of mine on eBay. Everything she used on this is available there. You need to look for closed jump rings, dried flowers (they come in assorted colors in boxes of 12), and nail supplies for these tiny rhinestone chains. They, also, come in boxes o 12. Very short chains and different colors...about $6 a box. The shipping was actually quite fast.
