These families and residents are so deeply inspiring. The whole country is watching, possibly the whole world is. It’s a position that absolutely none of them asked for, but the good that they’re doing is unquantifiable. Even if nothing comes out of this in Uvalde, which would be devastating, the play book is changing, and not because of the people sitting behind their positions, but because of the brave people who are refusing to give up.
