Love the tips for getting the decal straight on the tumbler, not sure why I never thought of lining up with the transfer tape grid. This came out stunning. Glad you chose the glitter pair that you did, the other one was beautiful but this one is so subtle and complimentary with the decals.

I have had the UVDTF lift from the Epoxied cup after applying epoxy over it. Appears first as a hairline crack but when you insert the edge of an exacto knife, you can actually put away the entire decal from the tumbler. I have recently started sanding the epoxy now before applying the UVDTF and then after applying the first coat over the UVDTF. Hoping this will help. It took about 6 months of sitting on my shelf (I let a few sit for a a while before I will start actually producing/selling them). I just recoated a coaster due to this problem for a customer. Have you heard of this???

Wow. 😮 I have never heard of that happening on an epoxied tumbler. Without mentioning any company names…was it a reputable company you purchased them from? I have had similar issues happen with the 20min dry epoxy. It took about a month and all of the layers started flaking on my tumblers I had used it on. But it was actually because I didn’t give enough time between layering and the chemicals in glues, sprays and vinyls caused separating. You’re welcome to message me…you should 100% be able to put them on a glossy, epoxied surface. I’m curious to know reasoning behind the peeling as well.
