Imagine them as tiny baubles for a Christmas tree. Especially if you can make larger ones. Would look beautiful if you had lots also. But would need a lot of resin lol.
@TheMurlocKeeper6 жыл бұрын
They would also be heavy if made any bigger. Resin is basically solid plastic. If they stayed small, it might work :)

You can tell this person does nails for a living, they are SUPER precise
The clover flower ball is so very beautiful,and the resin brings out its natural beauty, I have a 12 mm round bead mould with no hole,so it has to have an eye pin after it is drilled, and I love to experiment with it, as I got some mica powers and alcohol inks yesterday that I had ordered, and will try the sphere one too,as its in two parts of top and bottom, great work take care and stay safe.

You've been very careful safety wise with gloves, and tinfoil to protect your eyes. Did you use a respirator/mask while you were sanding with your router? Very pretty, I love watching you work and what you make, and definitely want to try some of your ideas! 😊💖

Very beautiful!! You done an amazing job. Though you could have saved yourself much trouble by using a 2 part spherical mold like from Sophie and Toffee. It has a hole in the mold too. Either to insert an eye pin or to make a shaker charm.

I buy resin tools at DAISO (100-yen store in Japan) or handicraft stores. If you buy them outside of Japan, you can probably buy similar tools at online stores or handicraft stores.

I read that resin gets yellowish tone after sun exposure. Does UV resin become yellow after some time?
@popokuro31865 жыл бұрын
Yes. resin gets yellowish tone after exposed to sunlight for a long time. (Although thre are some type of UV resins that are resistant to yellowing ). It is better to store them in a place that is not exposed to sunlight.

It is better to not stess the ring sp much by stretching it open like that. Use your pliers to bend part of the ring forward, attach whatever you need to, and the bend it back. Less likely to snap the metal.
