Not sure I understood your question. If your concern is keeping the vacuum on the charging base after it’s fully charged, then you shouldn’t be as they’re designed to be that way, so likely the charger will detect when the battery is full and cut off charging (or trickle charge to maintain full battery)

@ I vacuum a small space daily, and they say it’s not good to charge battery-powered devices if the battery isn’t completely empty. That’s why I asked what to do in such a case.

Thanks! The S20 has more features, so definitely a better all-around machine-but that comes at a cost. If you don’t mind paying that price, go for it! Else, if you’re looking for great value for money vac without the need to spend more for bells and whistles, then go for the D100!

They both do an excellent job at it! They use different approaches though; Moprobo has a single use wand that you replace, while the Narwal has a comb to detangle hair from the brush roll.

Hi Rawan, thank you for your honest review! I just ordered the UWANT D100, and I wanted to ask: can I use the cleaning solution I already have at home with the vacuum, or could it cause damage? Do I need to buy the UWANT cleaning solution to ensure it's safe?

All manufacturers recommend you only use theirs only. That's because they have tested the chemical composition of their solution on the material in their vacuums, to ensure it does not degrade or erode anything. My thoughts--and this is only my theory so follow at your own risk--is that most if not all solutions designed for wet vacuums *should be fine and should not have any chemicals harmful to the machine. Might there be an exception out there with some solution that reacts with some material, maybe. But in my opinion, the risk is low, and so I personally use any solution made for wet/dry vacs. But of course I cannot ask you to do the same nor take responsibility on that. Just sharing my thoughts.

I really appreciate all your reviews on wet & dry vacuums; they were incredibly helpful in my recent purchase decision. However, I just saw this review a few hours after buying the Dreame H12 Pro on sale for the same price as the D100. If the prices are the same, would you choose the D100 over the H12 Pro, or does the H12 Pro offer better value at the same price as the D100?

Glad my reviews were helpful! The Dreame H12 Pro at that price is good, however personally I think the UWANT still offers a bit more value; it has lay-flat capabilities (Dreame doesn't), the brush drying cycle is much more silent, the Dreame does not have a filter in the waste water tank to catch solid debris (the UWANT has that), and lastly the UWANT has a Turbo mode, the Dreame doesn't. However if all these are not vital for you, then you'd be fine with the H12 Pro! Cheers.

Can you use this on a carpet, using the dry only mode ? How does it compares to the Mova M10 ? It seems that the Mova cannot be used on carpet or so.

You could, though it won't deep-clean your carpets (the brush is designed for floors and not for carpets). I might be reviewing the Mova M10 soon, so stay tuned for that!

@@RawansReviews Hey, thanks for your answer. Well my D100 died after just 1 day.... It's not available anymore but there was a good deal for the H13 pro at around 380$. It's just 50$ more than the D100. So I decided to buy it instead. Except for the lay flat, it's equal or best than the D100. The D100 was nice but GOD it takes hours to charge, around 6 hours... And when the battery is empty, you have to charge it first around 1-2 hours before you can use the cleaning system. Something I liked however is that it cleans really close to the edge, almost 0 mm. The H13 pro is a little worse here. What do you think about the JONR ED20 Pro combo ? My order for the H13P has not been send yet so I still may change it...

I got it thanks to your vid. I tested it immediately after unpacking (it was not straight forward, the manual was useless so I had to check many other vids to get it right :x) and was disappointed as there was very little water coming out even at max settings. Not sure if that's because it still dry, or first use... I hope It is not a broken unit... Now it is charging and will try again later :

That should not be. It spits out a decent amount of water on Max. First time around might need need to keep it running a few seconds to kickstart the water, but beyond that should work. Make sure the tank is installed correctly, keep it on for a bit then see if there’s any water coming out. Let me know how that goes!

@@RawansReviews After a few uses it got fixed on its own. It could be just me who was wrongly using it since this is my first purchase of the kind! One thing I am facing now is to renew the cleaning liquid. 20E for half liter is too much imho. This remind me of printer manufacturers selling printers so cheap then making customers pay too much for the refills xD They are advising to not use anything else on their product page, which is a pity "Please do not add Non-UWANT brand cleaner, please do not add strong acid and alkali solid liquid above may cause damage to the machine"

Agreed. Personally I usually use any wet/dry vac solution, regardless of manufacturer. All of them advise against using anything but their own. I can’t guarantee it’s safe to, but personally I think the risk is low, I use any generic solution made for wet dry vacs.

@RawansReviews that's what I think too but 60° cleaning is a must considering that these brush rolls have a limited life span so you'll have to buy new ones at some point. Maybe 60° cleaning can make them last longer. The Dreame Mova M10 is only 50€ more than the Uwant in my country for black friday and it has 75° cleaning and drying. I think it might be a better value for money. Also Dreame is a more established brand than Uwant, the reviews about the Uwant X100 look scary, let's hope they learned from their mistakes with the D100.

Is this normal? Used the device yesterday for wet and dry cleaning, after that the device roller has dried for an hour. Today i want to use the device for dry cleaning, but the brush was still wet and left stripes on the tiles.

No that should not be the case. In my tests the brush roll was almost entirely dry after the hour. Try that again and monitor what happens

@@RawansReviews I suspect this is a production error. I checked and the brush is indeed super dry after the drying process. However, when I want to start the dry mode, the brush still gets wet. Would you please check whether this is also the case with you?

I just tried it in dry mode, the brush remained dry. I turned it on without unlocking the cleaning head (so the machine didn't really turn on), cycled to suction only mode and then unlocked the cleaning head. There was no water dispensed so brush remained dry.

**Be cautious with this purely promotional review** - yes, it's a pretty well-known vacuum in China, but it's in the lowest price segment, currently under $200. It has a lot of issues, like spraying water during drying due to the foam from the cleaning solution. There are now more advanced models in the lineup.
