Considering the applicants who have also passed , I can't understand a consistent pattern of how they choose the applicants - cause someone is quite, others are not , and that's really confuse me. I match all the UWC's missions but I'm afraid they won't see this through some online rounds. Do you think I need to behave as myself, or be at least more competitive to draw more attention?

Hey! I am applying through the Ukrainian National comittee, and in 5 days i'll have the 3rd round , which is a group project and essay. Our 1st round was an online application with many short and long essays. There we wrote about really everything - our achievements, faults, hobbies and passions, motivation letter. And after the 2nd round ( group game and discussion) , we'll have a group project and essay. I really have no idea what they can ask us about. So I want to know your opinion - what kind of topic it might be? Of course, I understand that application process in different countries differs a lot, but as a UWC student you may suppose a topic ? I would be extremely grateful!!!

Hey! so my school is run by a NGO called Akanksha. Every year 4-5 students are selected from our NGO to fill the form for UWC colleges. So I just got to know today that I'm selected this year and have to fill the form of 2022. My principal has already told me that it's hard to get in. Students from my school applied for UWC since last 2 years but didn't get selected. I'm 14 now. I already feel so demotivated and scared. Do you have any socials to clear some of my doubt please. I can't lose this opportunity since I can't fill a UWC form on my own because of my financial background and I'm trying my best to know ways to get selected. Please could you help me ;(

I am currently in Grade X, from India Applications for 2021 just opened up and I having doubts about it So this is what I did, I went to the National Committee website and took the Application form They asked me to enter details, give a photo and also pay 1050 rupees I watched many other KZbin videos and they said that you must prepare for days to write the essays, so do I just pay the amount and get my form and fill it later or should it be filled right away? And how do I chose subjects? What to do to ensure scholarship? And you spoke about recommendation letter, what about that?

I took weeks to brainstorm about the essay so the earlier you start is probably the better. About the subjects, it depends on what you like/what you want to do in career. Unfortunately, there is no definite way to get into UWC. Just really try your best so you do not regret it. Lastly, the recommendation letter, just ask the teacher that knows you best (I'm not sure if this is mandatory for every country, double check with your NC again to be sure)

I have a question, I'm currently in summer holidays that will end in August. From there I'll begin 10th grade. I'm currently 15 and turn 16 on April next year. If I apply, I'll do it through the Indian committee, whose applications are due on November. I want to apply for DP1. (11th grade) should I apply this year, or next year? I noticed that all students who were accepted into UWC schools when they came in their first year were rejected, but when they came in the second year, they were accepted .... Is this really ?! Is it rejected the first time ?! 😂😂 I am really nervous about this because I am in the second grade of high school and I have one attempt in front of me, and I desperately want to attend UWC schools 😢

@@private2575 I'd say UWC is really worth it but it is also about your mindset and attitude too. Calm down, don't worry too much or else you'd freak out on the day and some people completely shut down and that's not good. Find anything that will keep you calm on the day, for me I basically just meditate hahah

I am really nervous about the test although I haven't apply yet. I'll have to do a test too I am sure that if I made it to the third stage (interviews) I'll be accepted easily No because I am overconfident but because I lived dome certain situations that made me believe in the uwc mission. But as I said I am afraid the test will destroy my dream (general knowledge)
