DIY Diwali Decoration Ideas | Tealight / Diya holder | Quilled Tealight holder

In this video i show you how to make beautiful tealight holders for Diwali. Its a quilled tealight holder. This looks beautiful and is perfect for decorating your home for festivals.
Hi guys! Welcome to my channel! Hope you all are doing great! In this video I am gonna show you how to make a beautiful tealight holder for Diwali. This is a quilled tealight holder and it is very easy to make.

Material required

Quilling strips ( two shades )
Quilling needle
Border buddy
White glue ( fevicol )
Compact disc ( CD )
Flat beads
Tealight Candle

How to make
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Start by joining two dark strips together using fevicol and wrap around border buddy as shown. I have wrapped it on the fourth level from the bottom. If you don't have border buddy you can use any round object and wrap your strip around it and you will have a ring coil. Hold it with your fingers and slightly pinch at one end you will have a teardrop shape or you can call it leaf shape. So this way you will be done with the outer part of the teardrop. Again join two strips together and make loose coils in the strip as shown in the video. This will leave you with a string of loose coil. Then apply glue on the inside of teardrop as shown and spread it with your finger. Now adjust string of loose coil inside it. You are ready with your teardrop or leaf shape. Similarly you have to make seven more in dark pink color ( total of eight ) and eight in light pink color. Now take your CD and apply glue in circular way as shown. Now stick your light pink color teardrops on it. Stick dark color teardrops on the top. Now its time to decorate your tealight holder with flat beads. Apply glue as shown and stick your beads. Let it dry. Your beautiful tealight holder is ready. I have made one more in red and yellow. You can also try different colors.
