I LOVE your idea about the stop bead when adding thread. When I'm in a Grove I don't want to stop to weave my threads and tie knots and cut my threads. doing it this way you can hardly even slow down to keep beading. can't wait to try it. THANK YOU for all that you do. Your patterns are fabulous!

Well I'm getting faster as I go. I try to make at least one thing a day. I've been making lots of of the" Burnished Lace" components you designed, mostly making earrings with them and a few pendants. I just made the "Sparkle Bracelet" you designed today. It turned out pretty in Dark Indigo Swarovski's and Honey Blue firepolish. Hi Stephanie! I made this necklace and when I hold it in my hands I really love it but I don't like how it looks around my neck. So I'm going to take it apart. I then made it with Crystal Silver Night.... with Miyuki matte 11/0 grey (2002 I believe). That sparkles! The 11/0 on the edges I replaced with 15/0, and strung 3mm crystals in between them. Oh what fun it is to bead... :D

I'm trying right now and I don't think it's going to work... firepolish beads are more rounded than bicones and they push the inside seed beads under them... it's not very beautiful. I'll post à picture of my sample on the group so you can see what it looks like... Too bad, I'll order bicones then...

The central part of the bracelet will, probably, be crossing like Xs? Looks very nice, and the idea is generously simple. I made the necklace, and it's so wearable - I can wear it with everything and every day! That's so very special about this project - you do not need the special event to wear it!I embellished the edges with same crystals and seed beads of the same color (one crystal, one seed bead - otherwise, the crystals would crowd each other) - it would be easy to remove if the decoration.would spoil the design, but it didn't really. Thank you very much! I love it.

Hi, dear Stephanie! I wore my necklace yesterday, and it didn't work with those crystals at the edges. They irritated my neck so much, and I'm thinking to take them off. Also, I, probably used 6lb FireLine thread, and my necklace tried to curle into a tube all the time. I loved how it looked like on me, but it didn't pass the test in my variant of execution your brilliant idea. I probably will take it apart, and try to use thicker thread, and NO crystals ha ha ha- I was too fast to brag :) Did you test yours? I think, I wasn't too careful to listen what test of FireLine to use, and without that embellishment the necklace would really feel like silk...Big hugs for you with deep feeling of gratefulness. I also would appreciate any advice for this project regarding my failure. Did I tell you it looked heavenly? :) I would send you a picture of it before I take it apart (sadly)
