Beautifully explained. Many of us might have heard as children this story about Muni Naradaji bringing a mango to Shivaji and Parvati ma . They ask Ganeshji and Skanda ji to race around the world . Whoever comes back first will get the mango. Skanda gets up on the peacock goes around the world but Ganesha goes around his parents saying they are my world and wins the mango. Skanda comes back and gets upset and the story continues. That is the beauty of our Puranas- it is not what you see or hear and that's it. There is nothing more. The Puranas have layers and layers of intricate knowledge that is inexhaustible. If the above story was for children , the same for a spiritual seeker will be more in depth . Some would have said Ganesha is more clever as he was tricky. No that is not it. Skanda shows - see Bhagwan everywhere and Ganesha shows us see Bhagwan where you are. Every stothra , mantra story has 3 or more levels and according to what you seek or desire you will get different meanings and get what you want.

*@lipi* This video is Brilliant! But one thing to expound here is that Parabrahman has a form (i.e. not formless). The true context of the ideas, such as God being "formless" or "nirgun", is that it is referring to the fact that God does not possess a mayik form/attributes (but he forever has a divine form). Thus, nirgun with respect to God can only be understood as God not having a form made of maya, but in fact God always possesses a divine form. And when people talk about God being just a mass of light, perhaps that's from the level at which they have reached in their personal spirituality/sadhana. For there to be a mass of light, you need a source/form. So it may be correct that God is engulfed in his own divine light, but it doesn't mean that he does not have a form (i.e. he is forever present with a divine form in the center of that light).
