V-drive Ride Along in 76 Hondo, Weekend Paradise, 2021

Sammy Fey takes us for a ride along in his 1976 Hondo V-Drive Flatbottom, powered by a Lew Larson 496 BBC. Sammy loves driving his boat full pedal and has provided me a lot of great photo opportunities over the last year or so. (check them out on my website at www.fastloudphotography.com
As in years past, the Weekend Paradise RV Resort opened its doors for their annual New Years Day V-drive regatta and it was a huge turnout full of tons of Flatbottoms, Hydros, and even a few K-Boats.
Always a good time with this group of people, and we even did a photo shoot for @speedboatmagazine (video coming soon).

Thanks Kristine. @GoPro has made extracting telemetry data very difficult on the newer cameras. I’d really like to, and have tried intensely, but they made it pretty much a mobile-only platform which isn’t conducive to editing video.
