It's basically just love yourself mantra all over again. I mean at the start of the MV, V's all alone & lonely but the world is in peace, in love, & happy. But once he found himself a partner, the world's in chaos ... cause it's like he's not supposed to be in love with someone else, cause the price he has to pay for his happiness is others suffering. If we think about it, that's literally his life as an idol, once V's indeed in a relationship, a lot of ARMY'S would be sad, mad & heartbroken. In the end of the MV, he woke up a dream just like in Singularity lyrics and see himself, but this time he's not alone cause he has himself and once he realizes that, he's finally happy. The overall message of the MV is, the only person who will never betray or abandon you is yourself, so love yourself btch. xD

Miluji vaše reakce. Je to vždy smysluplné a zajímavé. Na toto MV jsem se moc těšila a líbí se mi. Estetika, poselství, hlas V, jeho roztomila ( přítelkyně ). As usual, Tae gets me thinking of so many different interpretations of his MV’s and music. ONE of the many interpretation I got, is that it’s a witty, but a sad sarcastic take an idol’s life( and maybe also for diverse relationships). They are lonely and they can’t have relationships only friends therefore everyone loves them but the pressure can cause ‘death’ and the second part is when they do have a relationship, then there is hate. And at the end of the day, they only have themselves to rely on until they stop being idols. I love that he is so experimental in chapter 2, trying so many different things and styles. His vocals are great, thought I do prefer it without autotune which big hit loves to use for artistic purposes. The vocals at the end were amazing, especially as he had a choir. I can see this being even more amazing live with the soul choir that backed him up.

I like your analysis the most. I think you are right, the death scenes are metaphor for the friendship ending. One is a happy death cuz they ended up together, the other is a lonely one cuz his unrequited feelings ended the friendship. This MV is deeper than what most are surmising.

I think the car accident in both dreams resembles that wether they are couple or friends who have to end their friendship, the "end" as ironic as it sounds will be the same in both ways. so, you might better take the chance if at the "end", it becomes ironic that in analyzing that video this word is used over an over, back to my point, you better may take the chance to risk the friendship in admitting your feelings if yes there is nothing to loose. I suppose that is why this one V is saying "yeah" to the other v and him smiling in the cam. Because at the end those where to dreams and I mean if they all end the same way, I better love myself first than trying to love someone else if the car accident is not avoidable. but on the other way, nothing to loose so risk it all. it can be interpreted in different ways. I just really like how he plays around with that word "end" in a really comedian way which as well makes this feel bittersweet as it is for the viewers like ironic, comedian funny and really sad at the same time.

The video explores the different kinds & levels of friendships.
