Exactly he is an idiot . The Steelers can beat any of the teams in the division. If Russ plays like last season that is 100x better than Kenny and we made it to 10-7. The defense is upgraded this year as well and Russ is still a QB that doesn't throw away games he just in all actuality needs to be steady Eddie

I’m really sick of people trying to push Russ out of the league. Quit defending Fields. If Russ had fumbled twice, his haters would all be writing him off for dead. They’d be doing an Indian rain dance in the studio! Russ still has one of the best arms in the game and can still run, which even Mark Schlereth at least had the integrity to admit. Swagu and these other people speak about Russ like all of his athletic talent is gone. They really believe Russ can’t run anymore, and that’s bullsh!t. Yet, there’s no mention of Russ’s talent. Russ doesn’t have to struggle with the quick passing game. Russ can do it. It’s also strange how these blowhards keep talking about Russ like he’s Tim Tebow or some scrub. By the way they talk about him, you would think 11 of his years have been bad and one was good. Russ hasn’t always had problems getting the ball out quickly. He’s had stretches in which that wasn’t a problem at all, and he has had years in which QBs like Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, Goff, and others have held the ball longer but were sacked fewer times. I have proof. What I want to know is, why is it so urgent that they push Russ out of the game? What’s going on? Fields is a completely inferior QB to Russ, yet these people keep pushing the narrative that Fields is the key to Pittsburgh’s future. The Steelers are a win-now team! They need a grown man at QB, and there is no universe in which Fields gives this team a leg up, situationally or otherwise, over what Russ can produce.

They made the playoffs last year with Pickett. If Russ is really the guy you think, they should easily at least be in the AFC Champiinship, if not the Superbowl. Are those your expectations?
