This is not Nordic folk, though. This is very modern neo-folk at best. Real Nordic folk music sounds nothing like this. If you want more authentic Nordic folk, try Värttinä for example. Their singing is native style.

I saw you in an interview here on YT. Very interesting what you said. I am happy to see an artist who points out the meaning of paganism. That all the old believes and traditions and things we relate to, are mostly germanic. And that vikings were only a part of what was born out of the huge old germanic culture. I am just laying down on my bed. Letting go. Hoping somehow to connect with the old gods and shed this modern religion. Go back to very very ancient times of nature, mystery, beauty, freedom with nature. Becoming the forces of nature within yourself...flowing from one season to another. Able to summon strength and power from the ground one stands upon. If there were drums long ago it summons the heartbeat of memories long past and partially faded but one can peek beyound the veil through the mist to see the ancient ones.. I find it astonishing that so many people think that this is Nordic mythology when in fact it is Germanic. The Norsemen are not only descended from the Germanic tribes, we are essentially one people and they have continued our religion. No wonder if you know a little about it.
