I'm happy the series went on a break after Viral. I remember me and my best friend being hyped only for it to just fall flat. It's definitely worth a watch for the lore and completion sake but you're not missing anything crazy. Haven't seen 85 just yet but meaning to check it out but I've enjoyed the Shudder revivals so far

LMAO. Unless a place has an extremely old sewer system (like built in the 1800s) raw swege is in pipes. Most of what people call sewers are just drainage systems for rainwater. So you don't have to worey about "dooky water". Just mud and whatever the rain washed down there.

Funny Story: A 17 year old I work with got elbowed in her eye socket and her mom, the owner of the workplace, was so proud of her because she said she got elbowed in her “occipital bone”. The mom PRAISED her for knowing the term and even told someone that called her what a genius her daughter is while I’m sitting there, a Buffy fan, knowing full well that the occipital lobe is in the back of the brain and it takes all I have not to laugh out loud and burst their bubble. 😅 💙💀💙

My issue with "V/H/S/94" is, I love all the stories, but most of them run a little long for me. If I could go through and trim a few minutes here and there, it'd be... VHS 94 is the redemption to the series because VHS viral was trying too hard to impress people & trying to be flashy with its horror. Only reason 1 & 2 worked because it was experimental slow burn to leave you with WTF level dark feeling

The stories also felt more understandable and scary. The only one where I was confused was the glitch killer. *spoiler alert* It's like unfriended where all the characters are shit and it felt satisfying when they died. Granted, there was tea to be spilled so that obviously made it more entertaining to watch but still

After this you can skip 99 one and go straight to the 85 one, you will not miss anything, 99 is THE WORST one (with Viral of course) in VHS franchise, not scary and not even remotely interesting, believe me you will gladly save your time by skipping it.
