Hip hop has never been about just one thing. Some people thought hip hop went downhill when gangster rap came on the scene and then there were some who actually liked it. 'Get Silly' is about dancing and having a good time. There are many old school rap songs with similar subject matter. VIC and Soulja Boy did not kill rap. It is all a matter of personal taste.
