Welcome back to the remote countryside on one of Japan's Southern islands where after changing course quite quickly,Typhoon Shanshan decided to head straight for us!
We're quite used to dealing with Typhoons having lived on the Southern islands for many years.
So all we could do is prepare ourselves as best as we could including securing the property,bringing everything inside and stocking up with all the essential items.
The Storm hit and it was quite a destructive day or so but despite the mess and chaos outside,we're all fine and we'll soon have things back to the way they were!
