This song's main riff is sorta adjacent to some of the riffs on Snitches Are a Dying Breed and I like that alot about it.

Was there any specific reason the band hated this song? The riff has got a good punch to it! Good to see y’all uploading these demos, they still sound great!

This was over 20 years ago so opinions may have changed since then but I know at the time we were working on it I'm pretty sure Elijah was the only one that really liked it since he wrote it. The only comments I can think of off the top of my head are Jason calling it generic, Tyler has definitely called it butt metal (and still does), John used to sing along to the main riff and sing "MAYONAISE MAYONAISE MAYONAISE MAYONAISE KETCHUP KETCHUP", and Marcus couldn't come up with parts for it and when that happens it's usually because he doesn't like it. We were trying to have a bunch of new songs ready to go for the Equilibrium cd release show and this was the last one we did. The final version was better but I think we were just burnt out at that point and the song suffered because of it. With all that being said, we did record a new version recently and it's friggin' awesome but still waiting for Jason to record vocals on it.

@@therealvmob I gotcha man. If it gave y’all that much of a headache during the writing/recording process, then it seems legit as to why the band would grow to dislike it. Still, it’s good to hear these tracks now, gives me another reason to love the underground! 🤘🏻🤘🏻
