I was devasted when Tae said he thought if hurting himself just to take a break. I felt like I was kicked in the chest. All along I was smiling and enjoying... and then Wham! I literally had to pause the video because it was too much. It took a while to digest just how bad it was. I pray he and all the members live a long, happy and healthy lives. Tae is such a gentle soul that even imagining him being pushed to a point where self harm felt desirable is just heartbreaking. Uff!

You said it so well. You also have to remember that it was around that time he lost his grandma, and later his grandad, and was getting hate because he told army about it. It also explains the weight gain around that time. I also remember he really looked sad at some of the interviews on their concert tours at the time. Stress eating is also a sign that he wasn’t in a good place. If we look at the dingo story that he didn’t have friend in middle school and thought he was hated and then felt that he was a bad person because of it, so his teenage years weren’t starting well. To add to that bang pd made him the hidden member and V thought he was being dropped from the group. All this in the early years can do a lot of damage mentally and I think he over compensated by being so over the top as a character. I think the tae now is actually more balanced and his shyness is relevant. He still sees himself as below par with the other members, he doesn’t think he’s as good at them and that’s also a factor. Thankfully he is in a much better place and has a good strong set of friends and family around him.

I remember in his poem, No big deal he said that...Yoongi you said you want to be born as a stone in your nxt life, It's no big deal I will put you in my pocket and bring you to beautiful places...something like that! So he mentioned it again, I can't hold my tears, He loved his Sugahyung so much and he respect him. I also am a bit sad thinking how he had felt in 2018, as we all just enjoy their music and happy for their global success, our boys were so exhausted and burnout and Tae even think of hurting his body just to have a day rest, oh my...I'm just happy and relieved that he is ok now...and all of them are happy and healthy! I love Tae so much, all I want is for him to be happy❤ And for all of them to be safe and healthy!
