Varahi is one of the Matrikas, a group of seven mother goddesses in the Hindu religion. Bearing the head of a sow, Varahi is the shakti (feminine energy) of Varaha, the boar avatar of the god Vishnu. In Nepal, she is called Barahi. In Rajasthan and Gujarat, she is venerated as Dandini.
Devi varahi is one of the main goddess of ashtha marika. These eight goddesses assist devi durga in her battle field. Devi varahi is bhu devi or mother earth and she is also the consort of lord vishnu along with laxmi who is referred as shree devi or goddess of wealth . One can worship goddess varahi for the following reasons
1: for removing all forms of obstacles and bad karma and energies from your life
2:increasing wealth flow
3:increasing concentration and fluency of speech.
