My personal Opinion: I think that when Tushar's mom was having digestion problem it was a health problem, no one did black magic on her. But when she went to the 'Pandit' more serious things started to happen. So i think that the 'Pandit' was not a real Pandit and he only did Black Magic to the lady and I think that still she is being haunted by the spirit as a spirit can fool us by not showing their presence for many years but the person which is haunted might be struggling inside. In my personal opinion the doctor was correct because a psychological condition of person whose partner left this world too soon and abruptly without any training one have to raise two sons by their own and all that responsibility in this economy? and time where as a woman you too don't even know whether you'll be safe 1 minute later or not seems little tough moreover we all live in our own fantasy and imaginary world in which everything is perfect and joyous for a person who is alone without somebody to talk to (like a partner or someone you fancy) imagination can be sort of comfort for them but when it takes over the reality it can definitely be a threatening condition and we don't know what had happened to the lady before she had a mental break down to conclude anything as reality can be different, maybe what the pandit said is the truth, there is something super natural but either ways the ending is pretty saddening

You know what !! I wanna share a real-life incident that happened with my cousin. That was scary as hell😩 when she was around 6 years old, she had a doll which she always kept with herself. She loved that doll v much. She used to play and talk with that doll just like normal kids do. But one day, around 2 am when I woke up to drink water, I saw her playing alone with that doll. I said "itni raat ko kyu khel rhe ho nannu (her nick name), chlo sone aao (why are you playing at this hour of night, come to sleep)" She reacted nothing. I came closer to her and made her stand and said the same thing. She quickly looked at me in a rage, her eyes were damn red just like her doll !
