Welcome back guys. You’re in for a treat with V’s EP. He broke records in album sales and would have had the highest sales if Bighit hadn’t messed up the first week sales. The album and songs are making the year end lists for major newspapers and magazines. It has been getting great reviews by music critics and here are some quotes to highlight how sublime this masterpiece was from V. He incorporated complex jazz elements into R&B/pop in such a clever way that you don’t even notice the heavy jazz influence. He has brought jazz to a new audience in an easy palatable way. Congrats to V for making the Rolling Stone’s Top 100 Songs of the year with ‘Rainy Days’ at #58 Also congrats to V for being the only K-pop artist to make the Time Outs top 30 albums of the year list at #19. V is the member of the group with the deepest love of R&B, soul, and jazz, a fan of legends like Chet Baker and Frank Sinatra who’s also a former saxophone player. He unfurled his old-school credentials on “Rainy Days,” crooning over a forlorn piano and laidback beat as he explored the refined depths of his deliciously cloudy baritone. The result was an undisputedly umbrella-worthy, new-look, quiet-storm pleasure. -J.D. I love that you love V. The album is beautiful but under appreciated. All the members have now started their military service. RM, V, Jimin and Jungkook entered last week. This song/video to me has so many references to Jin and things we personally know about him from other videos and things that were said about him... down to the bread and sort of astronaut at the end and the perfect symetric face. The rose Jin throws at concerts, ect.

The bread and painting on glass is actually a reference to Picasso who did a series of painting on glass and using bread to paint with. And the ‘astronaut’ is an alien which is a reference to v being called an alien back in the day. Tae didn’t like being called an alien and so no one calls him that.
