create a surface, and create a water material in vray. after, select your surface and go to your material tab. select the material and right click, tap "apply to selected".

Thank you for the tutorial. Can you make more specific v-ray 3.0 tutorial such as how to make waves and light rendering? I downloaded the tutorial model they all have the presenting on the material already. So can you explain how you made them?

I believe with V-Ray 3, they will be able to show more works without postproduction, as V-Ray is becoming more and more capable of rendering very fine images, with a need of less and less postproduction :)
