One tip for Maja, the book lady: Her primary attack summons an add when it lands a hit, so the skeletons are, in large part, a detriment to that fight. I was having issues with her cause I like going heavy skeleton/necro. But I swapped to frost and chaos shots with longbow and with good dodging I basically never had more than 1 add except when she does the aoe and summons like 3-4. With this strat, I actually found her as one of the easiest act II bosses. But of course, everyone has their own demons with which bosses are easy/hard. Personally Tristan was the boss that murdered me the hardest. His spin attack is wild and knocks you back into itself and can't be blocked. I STILL don't know how to handle him well, just got lucky and he hadn't reset by the time I ran back after dying and got to fight him starting with him at half health. I probably need to abuse LOS and rocks and find better places to fight him on the map. I also forget potions are a thing. I feel like I've been basically running hard mode on brutal being a longbow user and never potioning lol

I actually killed Christina Sun using skeletons. I ignored her healing cast and instead used it as a huge dmg window because a huge group of skeletons outdpses her healing. Also i would recommend to not use summons against Maja and instead dodge ink projectiles. In that case all she can do is summon two types of books attacks. After her hp drops to 50%, kill all demons she summons through rituals and be sure to not let her consume any of them. If you do it, she's going to continue with book attacks without any demon stuff.

For Bane's decoy phase I just hit some random guy then shapeshifted into a wolf and ran around for 30 seconds and eventually he spawned back. It's probably safer than trying to fight.

It might be cheese but I always wait for meridth to cross by kriig. If you go in rat for you can agro her when she walks in front of his room and run into the room and they will start fighting each other. Its usually a toss up of who wins but if you are lucky you can get them both down .

I didn't hear it mentioned, but on Octavian, when he goes red and starts jumping around, if you don't have minions up, he only jumps one time and leads you, if you change to the opposite direction as soon as he jumps he'll 99% of the time and you can save the i-frame dash. I changed out the Ward of the Damned for the ice shield and used discharge for the static proc/circle of damage orbs and just stayed in melee if I wasn't fighting the adds. I'm eagerly waiting for the t3 video, I'm so tired of the sommelier rolling over me the way he does

Tip for Maja the Dark Savant - 2x counters for spells. I was able to Counter 1 -> Counter 2 -> Dodge -> Dodge 1, and so on. All while doing constant damage up close with Iron Axe. Switching to this strategy downed her in no time.

Leandra was a PITA. Normally you won't have both those unholy spells. Will gain +6 levels if you have research and mats for 2 more tiers of amulet after kill tho

Don’t sleep on the long bow for fights! It’s great for maja coupled with a great sword switch for the E ability I frame.

I normally just follow Bane for most of patrolling act 2 boses and unleash him when they are close. You can also 1v1v1 Archer and Reaper in the iron mines. Helps a lot if needed

It's worth noting that Beatrice becomes hostile to humans after transforming, so you can down her very fast by luring her into a patrol, letting them delete her with fire arrows or whatever, and then delete the patrol with the explosion from drinking her blood.

If you find a high quality scholar blood bosses becomes very easy especially combined with unholy build so always look for high quality blood especially in brutal mod

Ohhh I haven’t even used Scholar blood yet this wipe. I like the interaction that would have with unholy, I want to try corrupted skull + ward of the damned + undead army ultimate haha.

@@SoBadStrange I found both corrupted skull gem for double summon and %90 scholar blood in the brutal mod so at that point I was so lucky and progress jump was amazing, I think one of the crutual point about progress in brutal mod is finding high quality blood to capture earlier

I found maja to be easier than the other bosses around her level. Just hit between her 2 sets of spells and oneshot her ad eat and its kinda free. Did it with ghost wolf w heal gem and static ball ability.

When i first encountered the new beatrice in solo brutal, i was having a hard time so i let the village reset and whack her while im in a horse till she transforms and let the entire village wipe themselves out with beatrice hahahah

The maja fight is infinitely more difficult if you use summoned skeletons. Anything she can hit with her shadowbolt is going to create adds. The fight is easier without summons, and without teammates really.

He already had it same with gems etc this is like reverse progress he already did them hes just leveling himself down and fights the bosses I thought the same thing then remembered he has high level gems socketed and spells you wouldnt have at that point.

Try corrupted skull and ward of the damned. See if brute blood helps or wait for a blood moon. He is a very difficult boss for sure one of the hardest on Standard difficulty. Maybe scholar blood to get cooldowns back or rogue blood for bringing your Veil back sooner.

I do like the game, but what I'm really hating its the walk of shame after every time I get killed, what I mean is that I hate dropping my potions and some items then having to walk all the way to retrieve, even worst if you die to a roaming boss, now you gotta pick your items and look up for them again.

I have a question for since ive been following these recent videos (act 3 brutal is kicking my butt really bad), why don't you always Chaos Barrage ult at the start? Usually when you first attack them they have a wakeup animation that lets you get all 4 hits and you might have it back a 2nd time earlier, you did on some later fights but not like maja/leandra

@@SoBadStrange True, both of those spells are amazing. I was talking more about his mechanic where he hides. I saw in another vid that there's a purple hue on the one that's him, but after many brutal attempts and looking at my own recordings, that's not a thing either because of a bug or because of it being brutal. That left me to eventually tag him with some spell to give him my own spell hue, and deal with him that way. His fight felt really luck based, also partly because sometimes for his triple dagger throw, he'd bait you by moving after he should have thrown some of them, or after he has thrown some of them, and then stop suddenly and throw the rest. This only would occur sometimes after him "giving up" on throwing knives.

@@zurnar1000 ​ @SoBadStrange One thing that seems to be missing from the videos is the enemy character voices. I beat bane on brutal and had the same issue trying to see the purple effect on the enemy and not seeing it at all. However, he does talk crap during the add phase and with good audio, you can get a better idea of which add he is. Also, not confirmed, but I *think* he might always be a basic skeleton. But I can't be sure on that one. Voices actually would help with a lot of bosses, as many have specific lines that are more telling than animations when they're about to unleash something nasty. I think its Jade that always says something before she does the rapid fire which helped a lot knowing to use the Ward to block 10 thousand bullets and spawn every skeleton known to man lol. This also works with Ziva in act 3 with her machine gun

Fight maja long range so she wouldn’t summon, she would do it once to summon three adds in her 2nd phase. Ezpz fight then just dodge the books

its roaming boss, so there will be "invisible arena" around after you start fight, you cant just walk in 1 direction because this will reset fight(in that case, you cant move around whole mountains to avoid his attacks) you need to be in X range (im not even sure how big this range is tbh) around point where you start fighting

Sorry but this is a pretty terrible guide. You don't really talk about things like Boss patterns and again Maja you actively encourage summoning which is BAD - every hit she does with her bolt summons another shadow and that includes if it hits the skeletons.

Not going to lie your guide for Tristan sucks his fire sword slash can be easily dodged by simply moving to the side and ice slash by using ilussion spear backward or by shield and the jump atttack can be dodged by moving forwad towards him when he do it as for spinning attack to be honest i don't know I'm not the one posting video guides maybe dash then recast the illussion dash Ooooh and by the way u need to kill Tristan too get the two handded sword so how are u telling us to use it against the female priest boss if we don't have it in the first place😂😂

Depends on the server you got in, sometimes they change the settings to give more challenge
