This boss fight was not easy. I found my video recordings which I used to analyze the errors. They are a little painful to look at. I just recently got to this guy and my usual Crossbow + skeleton bolt + skeleton shield setup failed miserably (yes, I'm bad at this game), so seeing your loadout perform so well really helps. All that's left for me is to not eat all that lightning like I'm trying to pay for my whole city's electricity bill and I should be good.

Well done. You ran 1 and half of 2 phases very smooth, and in the end I felt that you got very nervous and almost died because of it, and I was like "Oh no, bro, keep up! Get yourself together!" hahah. Congrats!

i give up. did this stupid fight a hundred times today (I counted) ran out of resources trying to keep up with gear repairs, sage fish, fat-gobies and rainbow trout to make the 30 or 40 blood merlots that i used, went through 300ish health potions, had to craft a dozen or so onyx tears to find different alternatives to this build - i'm done trying to solo this bastard. just going to cave and have one of the noobies on the server help me.
