@@Uzbek_Yigitiman согласен что надо некоторым странам поумерить хотелки,-остров Врангеля всегда был русским, -пора России вернуть своё а не сопли жевать, а умничать все умеют, посчитай к примеру к Шойне сколько будет стоить протянуть коммуникации, там сотня народу дай бог живет,-проще им по квартире в москва-сити купить,-все философы-когда поныть и обхаять кого то ....-Делается для народа очень много, только вот народ этого не ценит....

It was on 17 February 1868, POTUS Andrew Johnson issued a memorandum to US Secretary of State William Henry Seward that he wanted "Wrangell's Land" a possession of the USA. In 1880, Major Ezra W. Clark, Jr. Who served as the Chief of the United States Revenue Marine and also the attorney for the Alaska Board of the US Deoartment of the Treasury ordered Captain Calvin L. Hooper, USRM, who was the master of the ship Thomas Corwin to take formal possession with a landing party for the USA. On 12 August 1881 (n.s.), Captain Hooper ordered 3rd Lt. William Edward Reynolds, USRM, to lead a landing party ashore at the delta of the Clark River and take that formal possession in the name of God, POTUS, and the US Secretary of the Treasury. That landing party included John Muir and Edward Nelson. [Captain Hooper also on 30 December 1898 at Honolulu issued a sua sponte order to take formal possession of Wake Atoll in the Pacific Ocean]. It was on 17 December 1883 that US Senator Benjamin Harrison met with Major Clark in room 41 at the US Capitol and directed him to draft a bill that would become the first organic act for Alaska and include six islands in the District of Alasks not covered by the treaty of 30 March 1867 (n s.), viz., Bennett, Forrester, Henrietta. Herald. Jeannette, and Wrangell. Harrison at that time was Chairman of the US Senate Committee on Territories. On 18 December 1883. the bill was introduced and with only one amendment the bill became law on 17 May 1884 on its signing by POTUS Chester Arthur. Clark received the Waterman Fountain Pen that Chester Arthur signed the bill into law with and then proceeded to the US Department of the Treasury to conduct a meeting of the Alaska Board. The Alaska Board by resolution declared those six island where "known as Alaska" under Section 1 of the Harrison Alaska Organic Act also on 17/05/1884. On 1 April 1924, the Lomen Brothers on Nome, Alaska went on title to the whole island of Wrangell Island.
