The "V" saga from the 1980s were on VHS back in the 1990s. I used to have "V" and "V: The Final Battle" on VHS back then. I borrowed or rented the DVD versions of this saga years before now. So yes, "V" - the old and new sagas - are on DVD. You could even order them from Warner Brothers or any decent store that sells CDs and DVDs.
