I have a suggestion for glass making. You know how you have the selection menu for ceramics and knapping? Do the same thing for glass. Heat it up, use a tool (Like a blow rod or whatever its called, idk.) on the ground, and then as you go, you use the tool to form it into the shape you want, like a beaker, drinking glass, or bottle.

In temporal storms, make the drifters teleport. Also PLEASE make them teleport to you, on top of you, and behind you too. It totally fits the mood and atmosphere Was not a fan of the drifters' design at first. They didn't seem part of the environment. Also they give you a derpy old man vibe. Just give them a walking cane lol (definitely think the behaviour can be more unique and terrifying). Especially since they are the main hostile entity in the game I think. I definitely want to have more fun playing vintage story. Everr since mojang started adding a bunch of useless stuff to minecraft, it wasn't fun to me anymore.

How cool it will be to have more furniture crafting recipes? Like a closet, a drawer, a bench, a round table on one leg, a torch/ lantern stand, a chair with arm rest, a signboard, a throne, a hanging food rack (like for onions or meat), a spindle, a clothesline, a tub. Also, MIRRORS. mirrors would be a grea addition to Vintage Story. The chisel is great and all, but it takes a lot of time to custom make everything that looks decent, would be great to have some more options to craft from It is great that you can craft without a workbench but it is a reward given to the player undeserved at the start of the game. There should be a challenge. Maybe you start off with a 2x2 crafting grid and the first villager you interact with, gives you 3x3 crafting capability. Villagers seem fairly easy to find so thats good. But it definitely has to be given or earned. You never start out with 3x3 crafting capabilities. Having the ability to craft a knife is different from having the ability to weave a basket. On the topic of the start of the game. There needs to be some incentive for getting your first tools and exploring the world and surviving. It is a sandbox but there should at least be a reason, it is a game after all. People think minecraft when first playing. That's because the player starts off randomly somewhere on the map. But if there was something that guided the player's experience, it will make all the difference. It can be subtle like an interaction with a bunny. How crazy would that be? The very first rabbit you see, goes up to meet you, and then, runs away. Since then, every rabbit you see, runs away. That gives the game so much more substance. The game must have a story, unless it wants to continue relying on minecraft. It is really up to the creator/s on how this is done though.

So you just have to trust this random comment on the internet. Make chests only placeable on solid blocks, just like barrels, and introduce a new vertical storage container (1x2 or 1x3). This will remove chest stacking from the game and it will be good. Crates should totally be a rare option for big storage (bigger than chests) at the beginning of the game. Maybe you can obtain it from villagers if you get lucky. Making crates stackable would make this pointless, so make them accessible only from the top This will change the gameplay experience, and make it more unique. It will give the player more incentive to make larger bases Storage vessels should have weight. I wish you can pick them up and carry them short distances (impacting your walking speed) BUT also keeping the contents in the vessel. Similar to the player picking up marble statues in the game "Don't Starve"

1.15 underwater update? Building underwater should definitely be a thing (with blocks that make sense, like wood, polished stone or metal). Underwater stairs and slabs would be great too. Also unrelated but I want to connect corner stairs and shelves Underwater sea shells, starfish, stones, boulders. Maybe sunken treasure FISHING Fishes or at least underwater mobs. Maybe crabs or lobsters? An infinite water source block is so convenient and necessary, I definitey think it should be in the game. Something that is so necessary needs to be a part of the game. But it should be MADE. The best option I can think of is to seal regular water in a barrel with a plant found deep in the caves or a mob drop A generated water source block next to an artificial water source block has to look seamless though. A different colour or tint is fine, as long as there is a smooth transition. Having the generated water blocks be infinite is fine. Making new ones is the issue, it becomes less about surviving, and more about dependence or 'training wheels' on a bicycle. An infinite water source block should be a reward given after completing a challenge, just like the oil lamps.

I think it could be a little bit more snappy, maybe coordinate better the animation with the actual breaking of the block, so the grass breaks at the same time the animation ends, that would make it a little bit less derpy. Still a great improvement tho :D

All my comments so far are everything but the video lol The animation should definitely be faster for when using the scythe. You're only getting grass to feed your animals after all. UNLESS YOU CAN FIND TREASURE IN THE GRASS I totally think that fireflies and birds should be added to this game. Finding fireflies from cutting grass would be so cool and beautiful at night. It will definitely add to the atmosphere.

Does the grass calm down sometimes or have realistic wind ripples? The way it constantly jitters is distracting and it seems to me that foliage is like that in every Vintage Story video I see.

So apparently collapsible dirt is an option when creating your word, and I understand that some people don't like it. But that is taking away from the player survival experience. I personally think that it shouldn't be an option, but on by default. There's so many dirt block variations, make one of them collapable. There's loose flint, why isn't there loose dirt?

Maybe make the grass break the moment the sound plays? Kinda irritating to have the grass break after the entire animation

Yea, ideally the grass should break in a circular pattern as the scythe moves over, but that's too complicated math for me to figure that out for now. Certainly possible, but this upgrade is already a lot better over the previous breaking animation, i would think

He might but its unlikely. If he does, it will be INCREDIBLY late game. The focus is on survival. Not thriving. You are fighting the world to survive, not conquering it like in Minecraft. Remember, this guy used to work on TerraFirmaCraft, if you ever played that modpack, you would know that many of the more advanced things didnt come until the very very late game. And you never surpassed a somewhat early 20th century level of tech. Most of the time.

Love the smelting of ores and stuff, but wished you took damage if you grabbed something that was too hot like around 60+ celsius (140F), though even that is pretty high. The player could craft tongs or something that wouldn't burn to grab a heated crucible/ pot Armour durability has to be shown on the hotbar. It is imperative. I don't want to go in a fight thinking that i had armour on when it broke. You don't always remember to check To move animals around is so frustrating. I don't really want it to be easier, but a method other than bating a trap. I want to give them a wack with my hammer. The prospecting tool is still a mystery to me. Even after watching videos online and reading the wiki. Not sure if it is worth digging around with a pick when there isn't a guarantee of the ores. There needs to be a proper guide. Love the concept of the cellar. Can we have something similar for campfires? in the sense that it needs a ventilated room or you start coughing and dying from the carbon poisoning. A campfire in a cellar shouldn't be aloud
