I installed this kit on my 2016 S550. This video was instrumental and gave me some confidence. It was tough to make sure i didn’t damage anything in the interior. The kit works great. Great tips. The one I was working on the ashtray didn't want to release, so I ended up releasing the top switch and vent panel aswell, didn't remove it, just allowed me to lift the ashtray to pull out. 😊

Hey, I used USB-AUX adapter cable baseus, with adapter usb-c to usb-a and I have no sound.. all connections are correct for sure. It could be because of this adapter?

Thanks for speeding the through the turning of the torque drivers. Is it possible or how hard would it be to change the middle panel from the S class 2014-2017 and replace with a 2021 middle panel with the screen built in? How would it affect the airbags if the change can be done?

It would cost a ridiculous amount of money, they are compl different chassis. The entire dash, center console and front door cards would have to be retrofitted. As for airbags, the squib connectors and rough locations stayed the same so the original SRS control unit SHOULD work (I’m not entirely sure). But like I said you would need to completely retrofit the dash, center console and at-least front door cards since they wrap around.

Hi im based in the uk and I have a 2016 s350d. The inside of my center compartment where the usb ports are - are slightly different , your compartment is much deeper and has a different layout where your able to pull out the usb ports. I have an air conditioning unit under the center console which is for the rear. Is there a way i can still do this?
