In the early morning hours of Sunday, October 11, 2020 a CSX train derailed in Lilburn, Georgia. The train crew was in the dark and their cab was filling with water. Fortunately, a local police officer was on the way.

From what I've seen of how railroads operate CSX probably tried to find a way to blame the crew for the derailment.

It was a pleasure to hear 'I'm here for you brother' rather some officer screaming 'put your hands up or lie on the ground'. There are good people in uniforms and others not necessarily in uniforms who'll help and stick their necks out for their fellow humans. Let us always be equal and let us truly live this behavior wherever we go and whomever we encounter.

The police do good deeds 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, year after year. The sad part is we never hear about all the good they do, only the times they mess up is it all over the news. You get what you give. Show respect to the police and 9 times out of 10, that is what they will show you.

For those who don’t know, PSR, standing for Precision Schedule Railroading, is a thing many railroads are doing in which they bunch up many smaller trains into a single large train, not only are the trains usually equipped with too few locomotives, which causes the train to be underpowered and not well equipped to deal with the weight, but it also produces fewer jobs due to having fewer trains.

Unfortunately people like you only get information from the news. Big mistake. Did you know that George Floyd was armed with a knife? No you didn’t. Because the news makes money on drama. Cops don’t go around shooting people. You do understand what it takes to kill a man right? You are never the same after.
@AtkataffTheAlpha
@AtkataffTheAlpha 3 жыл бұрын
Have you two ever even been doing more research & have been at the front of a traffic jam watching cops pull over an suv on a 3-lane freeway? No. I have done research & have found that policemen & women do draw out their guns. It's to encourage the victims to get down or give up aswell as protecting the officer. Police all around the world actually have drawn guns out & shot people instantly & that includes chasing down a victim on foot. Policemen & women have been warned to not pull out & instantly shoot unless under extremely high situations like "shoot to disable fleeing victim" if they're not armed with a tazer. I have been gathering information over multiple things in life & have done research on things I'm wanting to know more about. Shooting right after drawing isn't as common as drawing & not shooting but it still happens eventually with an officer. Police S.W.A.T also can do the same things listed above but aren't usually called unlike other police vehicles. Joining the police is a very powerful job & with all drama in chases or caught victim, you gotta be serious & think fast upon arriving or already on the scene of a chase. That's when policemen could have enough, draw out gun, & instantly shoot the victim to end the chase. Idk why you guys are harassing me about my comment, I was just trying to get people to understand that they shouldn't be afraid of police. True, police don't believe everything on first told but police still are caring when off-duty with their families, homelife, or just at the station on a food break. Like ever person, people have reflexes & reactions. Talking to a retired cop could give you a deeper insight on what goes on behind the scenes of an officers life on & off duty. Still, there are many people in the world so eventually in time, another policemen armed with a gun will draw it out & shoot instantly upon reaction on whatever situation they're in. As always, everyone has good, serious, bad, & fun side.
@fluffnose3386
@fluffnose3386 3 жыл бұрын
@@AtkataffTheAlpha I wasn’t trying to harass you, sorry that you took it that way. But my dad is a police officer. They draw their guns as a last resort. And that rarely happens. I’ve ridden with him before. He ran into a building with a possible killer inside without his hand on a gun. Turns out the suspect had run off and bashed a poor mans head in. He was aimlessly wandering the halls of a hotel knocking on doors to find someone to help him leaving a trail of blood. It is not an easy job. And they don’t go around killing people. That’s all I’m trying to say. I’m not saying that there are no bad cops, but there are so very few of them it’s not as big of a problem as the media makes it.
@AtkataffTheAlpha
@AtkataffTheAlpha 3 жыл бұрын
@@fluffnose3386 oh ok that makes sense. But atleast I know what it's like seeing a real "draw gun out" before. It was scary but thankfully everything was good, nobody shot, & the police accidentally caught the wrong suv. Still, it's my own experience seeing it in person rather than reading, listening, or watching stories & close up footage from a police copter filming a police chase
