V138 - CAMPINGAZ 907; how much is left in the bottle after 3 years of use?

We carry a spare at all times there’s nothing worse than running out of gas half way through cooking dinner, but then we go away pretty much every weekend. New cylinder was approx £70 refill approx £40.

We’ve just bought a second hand California and are heading to the alps in September so need to know how much is left in ours. Didn’t know you could tell by weighing it so I’ll be giving it a go 👍🏼

Thank you for the video. We plan a trip through Europe this summer. I started to think what needs to be checked. I get new tyres next week from Frank Kean, refill AdBlue, get the stickers for the light. You reminded me to check the gas. But we haven't used it as much as you did so it should be OK, but I will,put it on the scale too. Have you cleaned your water tank? I ordered Puriclean from Halfords. Hopefully it will be in Liffey Valley on Tuesday evening.

Hi Dackel. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment! Best of luck on your trip and I hope you have a great time! I did clean the tank once using a diluted solution of Milton Sterilising fluid (used for baby bottles etc). I left it to soak and then rinsed the tank with fresh water. Probably due a second clean but I don’t detect any issues with the water. I need to top up my AdBlue also - I’m nervous as we’ve had issues in the past so fingers crossed! 😉 Thanks again! J.

3 years?? I only use mine for the small fridge in the camper and it's not lasted 3 weeks!

Yikes… Ours lasted a long time but I think it’s because we were new to camping and it it saw limited use. We’ll see how long the new one lasts… 👍🏻

We buy a full bottle and hand back the empty bottle (you buy the actual gas bottle just once) - this way, you only pay for the gas. Hopefully this is of help! J.
