Yep! Hypergoner is the unhinged amalgam of the "creature with giant rainbow wings" from Asriel's unfinished game and a lot of his other various edgy teenage creative projects, most of which are lying around, half-finished, on his computer's hard drive. He's desperately convinced that one day, Asriel is going to come home and finish him, and that's pretty much the only thing keeping him together by the time Kris and Susie first meet him.

He looks scarier up close... But really cool! I like the song, but I'm not sure how to feel about all voice lines and Spamton's screams in the background, I'm not sure it fit

Thanks! I’m glad you liked the song! But uh, there’s no Spamton voicelines here. It’s mostly assorted Flowey noises, actually! Are you perhaps talking about the Earthbound “Wow!” sample? That also appears in Big Shot but it’s not a Spamton noise really; it's an Earthbound reference! :D

@@zawdan666 Ah ok! That makes sense! Yeah, it's an Earthbound sound effect. I believe they sampled it from a Blockbuster commercial..? Anyhow, in Earthbound it plays whenever you start a new game, which meshes very well with Hypergoner thematically, so it made sense to use it.

I love this version!!! It stands out from the previous one and I love the new melodies. especially the one's at 1:47 and 2:28 (can't remember which songs there are from for the life of me) Keep these Masterpieces up!!!!! I know some people do this, you could put the specific leitmotifs you use in the description so people who forget can just look to see. just an suggestion

imagine their attacks would be really weak but have the vibe of other unused attacks in deltarune that go cut where it's way too unfair with a difficult gimmick or bullet spam. Because they're, nnhrg, an un used, ok?

Nice, this is better than the first version. I also checked out your other stuff, its pretty good. Just one critique is that the instrumental is probably too quiet, and the sound effects and vocals coukd be softer.

Great song, but there's a huge lack of original motifs. TWR had the decency to bring two, as did Spamton's battle themes. But this? One. And it's not even fully original. TWR actually has three if you count the first part as having two motifs, but the second many have compared to Nightmare Knight, so it feels off to count. Again, fantastic song. I'm not sure if it's TRYING to be secret-boss-like, but if it is, then it needs more original motifs.

Sorry if you don’t like it, but original motifs were not a priority. It simply doesn’t fit my idea of the character at all. He’s just a weird messed-up version of beta Asriel; why would he have a wealth of original motifs? Recontextualizing Asriel’s motifs from Undertale makes a lot more sense for the character and is way more thematically and narratively potent.

Yes! Well, sort of.. The Ness voice clip is from Smash, but the Starstorm sound itself is from Earthbound.

The WIP sabers should be called the Unfinisher, as a play on the word "finisher" being used to describe the last attack in a combo. Also, they should deal double damage if Kris is the only one who fights.

Honestly, I _really_ doubt it. A scrapped video game secret boss would be really cool and conceptually fantastic but it makes absolutely zero sense for it to exist in a TV-themed Dark World, unless it also meshes somehow with those themes in a way that Hypergoner here simply does not. He is, however, a really fun idea, and I am pretty happy with what I've been able to make with him so far :)

@@ColonThreeClef I actually think that works in its favor considering secret bosses are supposed to be discarded, so this is like doubling down on the discarded theme in that it doesn't even fit in the world in the first place. Also the "Green Room" seems to suggest there will be references to other parts of the house even if it's mainly a TV-themed world
